Searching for Templates

From the SmartOffice [side
menu](/help/pro/navigation/-/side/menu), select Setup >
Template Administration to
open the Search Templates dialog box.

(Optional) Focus the search by specifying any of the following
fields/options:
Template Name: To
find a specific template by name, enter its name here.

Keyword: Enter any
keyword associated with the template.

Purpose: Select
a purpose to display only those templates intended for the same
business purpose.

Created By: To display
templates created by a particular user in the office, click the
Created By hyperlink and
then choose a user from the user list that opens.

Show My Favorites:
The user can select this option to display only those templates
that he/she has marked as favorites. For more information, see

Include These Templates:
Select or clear the check boxes in this section to include or
exclude template types from the search.

Templates Shown:
In this section, select one of the following:

All Templates:
This option displays all templates matching the criteria specified
in the dialog box.

Created by Me:
This option displays only those templates that match the criteria
specified in the dialog box and that were created by the signed-in
user.

Hide SmartOffice-provided
content: This option excludes from the search
results any prepackaged templates that came with SmartOffice.
Note that this option is available only when the All Templates
option is selected.

Created by me and my
proxies: This option displays only those templates
that match the criteria specified in the dialog box and that
were created by the signed-in user or other users' with whom
the user has a proxy
relationship/-/introduction).

Include Templates created
in Parent Office(s): This option displays only if the
user selects the Created
by Me or Created by
me and my proxies option. It enables the user to include
or exclude templates from any parent offices in an enterprise

Click the Search button.
Template List
The results of a template search display in the Template List.
From this list, the user can create,
view and
modify templates.
The user can narrow down the list by template type using the Template
Types drop-down list at the top.
Like most SmartOffice lists, the Template List can be printed, exported,
