Overview
The administrator can add a custom company logo to SmartOffice. The
logo displays in the upper-left corner of every page and on the cover
pages of PDF reports.
In addition, if the office provides clients with access to [SmartView
for Clients](/help/pro/smartview/for/clients), the logo displays in the upper-left corner of the client
portal.
This topic explains how to prepare a logo image and upload it to SmartOffice.
Note: Only Administrators who have
the Administrator: User Rights &
Creation/Licenses/Groups [user
right](/help/pro/user/accounts/user/rights/content/link) can access the SmartOffice branding feature.
Logo Image Specifications
Prepare an image file with the following specifications:

Format: JPEG,
GIF, PNG or BMP

File size: 1 MB
or smaller
-
Dimensions: 160
pixels wide x 44 pixels high
Tip: A logo image that is not 160
x 44 pixels may appear stretched or otherwise distorted in SmartOffice.
If possible, resize and/or crop the image to those exact dimensions
using your preferred image editing application before uploading it
to SmartOffice. Note that achieving those dimensions may require adding
empty space to the sides, top and/or bottom of the image, depending
on the logo's shape.
Uploading the Logo Image to SmartOffice

In the [side
menu](/help/pro/navigation/-/side/menu), select Setup > Office
Settings to open the [office
Detail content link](/help/pro/office/settings/-/details).

In the lower-left
corner, under Office Logo Branding, click the Add
Photo button.

(If the Add Photo button is not visible, click the Maximize
first.)
The Upload Office Logo dialog box opens.

Click the Choose File
button to search for and select the image. A preview of the
image displays.

If the image is
rotated incorrectly, click the left and right rotation buttons to
rotate the image.

Adjust the image
so that the portion you want to display in SmartOffice appears within
the center square:

Drag the image to reposition
it.

Use the mouse scroll
wheel to zoom in and out.
Tip: In many cases, the image
will look best when zoomed all the way out, even if portions
of the image appear outside the center square.

When the preview
image is satisfactory, select the Upload
button.

If the image does
not automatically appear in the upper-left corner of SmartOffice Pro,
refresh the page.
Restoring the Default SmartOffice Logo

In the [side
menu](/help/pro/navigation/-/side/menu), select Setup > Office
Settings to open the [office
Detail content link](/help/pro/office/settings/-/details).

In the lower-left
corner, under Office Logo Branding, select the Delete
.
Note: When the default SmartOffice
logo is selected, selecting the Delete Photo button has no effect.
