User Preferences

User preferences include a user's basic information, calendar options, activity options, policies/investments information, letter printing/e-mail options and other settings.



The SmartOffice administrator specifies default user preferences for all new users, but each user can review or make changes to those preferences. Note that not all user preferences can be configured as default user preferences.



To access user preferences, use one of these methods:






  • From the profile menu, select the Profile & Settings button .
  • From the side menu, select Setup > User Preferences.

  • From User Accounts, click the User Preferences content link.


User preferences are organized into the following content links:






  • Basic Info
  • Calendar Options

  • Activity Options
  • Record Sharing (see the Record Sharing topic)

  • Policies/Investments
  • Correspondence Options

  • Time Zone
  • 2-Step Authentication

  • SI Authentication
  • Sign-In Events

  • Alert Center
