Key Features
Goal Creation: Users can establish various goal types by selecting:
- Goal Definition (what metric to track)
- Insurance Type (for premium goals)
- Goal Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.)
- Goal Value (numeric target)
Premium Goal Tracking: The system offers specialized features for yearly premium goals, including:
- Goal Met Column: Displays whether yearly premium targets have been achieved by comparing actual production against configured values
- Audit Trail: Records goal achievement updates in the advisor's SmartPad under the Changes tab for documentation purposes
- YTD Production Columns: Available in Dynamic Reports and lists, tracking year-to-date totals across multiple insurance categories (life, medical, annuity, dental, vision, property casualty, critical illness, disability, long-term care, and other)
Important Notes
The system calculates goal attainment only when premium goals are configured with yearly frequency. The Goal Met column may require layout customization to display. Production tracking spans ten different insurance line categories to support comprehensive performance measurement.
