SmartCalendar - Calendar Week View

Overview

The Calendar Week feature displays activities in either a five- or seven-day format within SmartCalendar. Users can switch between two versions: standard and stacked by accessing the Menu and selecting their preferred view. Default settings can be configured in User Preferences under Calendar Options.

Standard Week View

This layout divides content into three sections: Calendar, Tasks, and All Day Events. Key features include:

• Individual sections can be maximized or minimized by right-clicking empty space or using the toolbar button
• Multi-day activities highlight the entire covered calendar area when clicked
• An arrow marks the current time in the display
• Status filtering available through dropdown menus for both activities and tasks

Stacked Week View

This alternative format collapses untimed activities (tasks and all-day events) into a collapsible pane positioned above timed activities, with a triangle button controlling visibility.

Navigation Options

Week Start Time

Begins at the first timed activity, or at the user's default start time if no activities exist.

View Options

Users can toggle between a five-day work week or seven-day week including weekends via the Menu button.

Specific Week Navigation

Access Menu > "Go to a Specific Week" to navigate using a date selection dialog.
