Dynamic Reports - Creating a Dynamic Report
Overview
In addition to using Dynamic Reports that come pre-configured in SmartOffice, users can create their own reports to run.
Watch the Training Class: Building a Dynamic Report
There are quick and advanced methods for creating Dynamic Reports.
- Quick report: The quick report method enables the user to create and run a Dynamic Report using common options with minimal configuration. Unlike advanced reports, quick reports do not require in-depth report setup and are not saved in the system for future use by default. However, the user has the option of performing advanced setup and/or saving a quick report for future use.
- Advanced report: Users who want in-depth control of a Dynamic Report's layout and content can use the advanced method. This method requires that the user perform report setup, and reports created in this way are automatically saved in the system for future use.
Tip: It is also possible to create a report by copying an existing report. For more information, see Modifying and Copying Reports.
