Navigation - Custom Button Bar
Overview
The Custom Button Bar is located next to the Menu button at the top of a record or list of records. It offers quick access to common commands related to that record type.
Adding Buttons
All of the buttons in the Custom Button Bar are also available as commands under the Menu button. The user can drag commonly used commands from the Menu onto the button bar for faster access to those commands.
Tip: An alternative to adding commands to the Custom Button Bar is adding them to the Favorites section of the Menu button. To add a button to the bar:
- Click the Menu button.
- Drag a command onto the Custom Button Bar.
Removing Buttons
To remove a button from the bar, use either of these methods:
- Drag the button from the Custom Button Bar and drop it onto the Menu button.
- Right-click the button and select Remove from Bar.
Rearranging Buttons
The order of the buttons can also be changed by clicking and dragging them to a different position.
Resetting the Custom Button Bar
To reset the Custom Button Bar to its default set of buttons, right-click any button and select Reset Buttons to SmartOffice Defaults.
