SmartCampaigns - Interaction with Other SmartOffice Modules

This help documentation explains how SmartCampaigns integrates with other SmartOffice modules including SmartLeads, SmartOpportunities, SmartEvents, and Dynamic Reports.
Key Integration Points
SmartLeads Connection
The Leads tab displays leads associated with a selected campaign. Users with appropriate licenses can add, modify, and delete leads. According to the documentation, "other leads functions (e.g., assign, reject, accept, revoke and forward)" require access through the dedicated Leads List.
SmartOpportunities Connection
The Opportunities tab shows campaign-associated opportunities. When creating opportunities, users can link them to campaigns with handling options that automatically generate letters and calendar activities.
SmartEvents Connection
The Events tab displays all events linked to the selected campaign.
Dynamic Reports Integration
Campaigns can be linked through the Report Automation content link. The system allows automated options to be applied to report results, including adding contacts to campaigns or creating opportunities.
Contact-Level Campaign Assignment
Users can add contacts directly to marketing campaigns via the Contact List using the Marketing Options dialog, which creates opportunities with designated owners based on specified assignment rules.
Access Requirements
Tab visibility depends on user licensing. Users lacking specific module licenses won't see corresponding tabs in the Marketing Campaign List.
