User Preferences - Calendar Options


Overview


This help page details calendar display settings accessible through User Preferences, allowing users to customize their default calendar view in SmartOffice CRM.


Key Calendar Options


Display Settings


  • Option to force calendar opening on the current day based on local date/time
  • Toggle for displaying other users' tasks on personal calendars
  • Time interval selection (30 minutes or 1 hour)
  • Day/Week view start time configuration

Activity Visibility Controls


Users can choose from four sharing options:


  • Show to other users
  • enables office-wide visibility
  • Do not show to other users
  • restricts visibility
  • Only to users with proxy relationships
  • limits access to proxy users
  • Select users
  • allows choosing specific viewers

Color Coding


Activities can be color-coded by type, sub-type, or participant (when viewing multiple calendars simultaneously).


Additional Configuration Options


  • Activity Details: Users specify whether location, subject/description, and contact names display in Week/Month views
  • All-Day Events/Tasks: Option to hide these items from calendar views
  • Week View Style: Choice between standard or stacked layout
  • Quick Action Corner: Customize up to four buttons with configurable ordering
  • Display Location: Select whether calendar appears within SmartOffice or in a separate browser window
