Searching for Investment Accounts and Positions
SmartOffice Anywhere has a robust search feature that helps you locate investment accounts and positions quickly.
Note: These instructions apply to large-screen devices. On small screens, open a contact or advisor/agency record to see its associated investment accounts and positions.
- On small screens, select Investment Accounts or Investment Position in the navigation menu (you may need to select More to see these options). On large screens, select Investment on the navigation menu, and then select Investment Accounts or Investment Positions. You can also select the Investments button
on your Dashboard (this works for account searches only, not position searches). - Select the investment Search box, and then type the appropriate account number or, if searching for an account, the name of the contact associated with the account. You can enter a name in any format (last, first or first and last). As you type, SmartOffice dynamically displays results that match your search.
- When the account or position you are searching for appears in the list, refer to the data in the columns for details about the account or position. By default, the investment account and position lists do not display inactive and closed accounts and positions. To change this, select the Include Closed/Inactive slider at the top of the list to set it to the Yes position.
