Advisor Payment Import - Introduction

Advisor Payment Import is a feature that imports commission transactions calculated outside of SmartOffice. It is ideal for users who need to import non-policy commission data that SmartOffice does not calculate.

Advisor Payment Import can be used narrowly for reporting purposes, or it can be used more broadly to link imported transactions to SmartOffice data, such as an advisor, account or contact.

If linked to an advisor, the imported commission amounts can be used to create advisor payment records if the user has the SmartCommissions module. Once payment records are generated, the amounts can be passed to the advisor on a commission statement.
