SMTP/E-mail Settings
The SMTP/E-mail settings let you specify how outgoing e-mail is sent from SmartOffice and how e-mail from other applications is posted to SmartOffice.
SMTP Section Outgoing (SMTP) E-mail Server/Port
Enter the address and port of the SMTP mail server that will handle outgoing e-mail sent from SmartOffice Anywhere. This setting is used for SmartOffice Anywhere-generated e-mail sent by all users in the office.
User Name
Enter the user name required to access the SMTP server specified in the Outgoing (SMTP) E-mail Server field. If a full e-mail address is required, remember to include the @ symbol and domain name. This setting is used for SmartOffice Anywhere-generated e-mail sent by all users in the office.
Password Enter the password required to access the SMTP server using the specified user name.
SSL Encryption If the specified SMTP server supports SSL, select this option to encrypt e-mail traffic between SmartOffice Anywhere and the SMTP server.
TLS Encryption If the specified SMTP server supports TLS, select this option to encrypt e-mail traffic between SmartOffice Anywhere and the SMTP server.
Test Once all SMTP settings have been entered, select this button to confirm that SmartOffice can send e-mail through the specified SMTP server.
