SmartWholesaler - Introduction


The SmartWholesaler module automates the process of tracking the production of different products sold by wholesalers/sales reps. The tracking process begins with adding distributors (i.e., producers and firms) to SmartOffice. Together with other SmartOffice modules that track carriers, products, pending cases, policies, events and opportunities, SmartWholesaler maintains information about each stage of production, from the wholesaler’s inception to production.


Key SmartWholesaler features include:


  • Territory management: Configure the team for maximum impact.
  • Production Dashboard: View production by sales rep, sales channel, territory, line of business, firm and supervisor.
  • New business/pending case view: View new business being processed (requires the Pending Cases module).
  • Sales opportunities and forecasting: Drive the success of the sales team (requires the SmartOpportunities module).
  • Contact/account management: Keep track of top producing reps and firms.
  • Mass e-mail/direct marketing: Simplify mass marketing efforts.
  • Materials fulfillment: Fulfill collateral requests with ease and track material costs.
  • Event management: Coordinate resources, issue invitations and reminders, maintain RSVP and waiting lists, and report on expected results by seminar (requires the optional SmartEvents module).
