Communicating with Contacts

You can call, text or e-mail contacts quickly from a SmartOffice Anywhere contact record. You can also look up a contact’s address on a map. SmartOffice Anywhere makes it easy to communicate and/or locate contacts directly using special buttons and link in contact records.

  • Your calling application opens with the contact’s number automatically entered. Start the call as you normally would.
  • To e-mail a contact, select the e-mail address.
  • Your e-mail application opens with the contact’s e-mail address automatically inserted as the recipient. Compose and send the message as you normally would.
  • To text a contact, select the text message button base_button_sms.png next to the phone number.
  • Your SMS messaging application opens with the contact’s phone number inserted as the recipient. Compose and send the message as you normally would.
