Pending Cases - Deleting and Restoring Pending Cases


Overview


When the user deletes a pending case in SmartOffice, that case can be retrieved.


Deleting a Pending Case


  1. Tag the case in the Pending Case List.
  2. Select Menu > Delete 'Pending Case' record.

The delete option is also available from the Menu button when the user is viewing a case's Detail content link.


Note: A parent informal case cannot be deleted if it has child cases associated with it. All of the child cases must be deleted from the case's Informal Application content link first.


Restoring a Deleted Case


A user with administrator rights can restore deleted pending cases using SmartOffice's Deleted Records feature. That feature can also be used to delete cases from the system permanently.
