Analytic (Excel) Reports - Introduction


Analytic reports (also known as "Excel reports") are Dynamic Reports that are linked to Microsoft Excel templates. This report-template relationship enables users to run a Dynamic Report and instantly view the results in an Excel workbook.


The templates included with SmartOffice contain pre-defined formulas, PivotTables and coding that enable even novice Excel users to easily analyze and manipulate report data. The templates also provide advanced options for skilled Excel users.


Users can also create their own templates and associate them with Dynamic Reports in the system. Note: Users should familiarize themselves with Dynamic Reports before using analytic reports.
