Overview
SmartOpportunities users have access to several reporting tools to help them measure win/loss rates, gain detailed information about the sales pipeline and more.
Opportunity-Related Reports
To run opportunity-related reports:
- Do one of the following: From the SmartOffice side menu, select Reports > Opportunity Reports.
- From the Opportunity List, select Menu > Run Opportunity Related Reports.
- For users with proxies, the Available User dialog box opens. Select the appropriate user and then click the OK button.
- When the Select Process for Report dialog box opens, select the appropriate process from the drop-down list.
- Select the appropriate options in the Select Opportunity Report and Additional Options sections: Win/Loss Report: When this report is selected, the Additional Options section displays a Summary Report and Detail Report option. When the Summary Report option is selected, the report displays the following information: User Name, Sales Made, Sales Lost, Reason for Lost Sales. When the Detail Report option is selected, the report displays additional information, including Campaign Name, Last Activity Outcome and Estimated Potential.
- Pipeline Report: This report displays stage information, including Contact Name, Last Activity Outcome, Potential Revenue and Close Probability.
- Campaign Opportunity Report: This report summarizes opportunity information by Campaign or User (available in the Additional Options section when this report is selected). Both reports display Contact Name, Opportunity Name, Last Activity Outcome, Amount and other data.
- Click the OK button to generate the report.
Opportunity Dashboard
The Opportunity Dashboard is an analytical reporting tool that displays the different stages of completion for all opportunities.

Select Reports > Opportunity Dashboard from the SmartOffice side menu to display the dashboard.
Report Selection Options Section
These fields customize dashboard reporting for a specific reporting period, campaign, office and/or user.
Note: In the User Name field, the user can enter either an individual user or a user group.
Opportunity Dashboard Options Section
These opportunity-based parameters enable the user to define the kinds of opportunities to be displayed. The fields in this section are:
- Process: Select a value from this drop-down list to view a single opportunity type.
- Status: The opportunity stage determines the status. Select a status to display opportunities that have that selected status.
- Forecast Report: This option presents a view of opportunities along with the period in which they are expected to close.
- Show Forecasted Only: Select this option to view only those opportunities that have the Include in Forecast option selected on the opportunity Detail content link.
- Pipeline Report: This option displays the sales channel to show how close opportunities are to their estimated revenue.
- Include Inactive Opportunities: Click this option to display opportunities that are in a stage with an Inactive status.
- Tree Control: When sorting by more than one column is required, enable this control to view records at multiple levels.
- Summary: This view displays the report in a summary view.
- Normal List: Displays a list view of the data.
Opportunity Dashboard Options Section
This section displays results based on the selections made in the other two sections of the Opportunity Dashboard. Click the Refresh button to display these results. Use the Options menu in this section to access additional features.
Opportunity Dynamic Reports
SmartOpportunities users have access to the Opportunity family of Dynamic Reports, enabling them to create reports based on actions, campaigns, presale activities and more.
