SmartLeads - Introduction
The SmartLeads module automates the process of lead importation, distribution and tracking.

The tracking process begins when leads are imported into the database from a .CSV file, entered manually or collected through a Web form. When used in conjunction with the SmartOpportunities and SmartCampaigns modules, SmartLeads maintains information about each stage of the sales process, from lead inception to client status. This guide is intended for leads tracking coordinators within individual offices and for advisors who use the module.
Key SmartLeads concepts:
- Leads are prospective contacts that can be tracked until they become actual contacts.
- Leads are collected, screened and dispatched to the respective offices by a Corporate Office user.
- Leads are assigned to advisors by leads coordinators. Advisors can accept leads or reject and return them to the leads coordinator.
With SmartLeads, users can:
- Generate leads reports by using a Dynamic Report or by exporting the data to a Microsoft Excel_reports_-_introduction.htm) spreadsheet.
- Use the Leads Dashboard to analyze leads data.
- Track marketing opportunities and the strength of those opportunities at different processing stages.
- Display expired leads for revocation.
